I really want to lose weight?

Lose Weight?

I do not know, do you?

I am a healthy size 14, which apparently makes me the average American woman. I want to be a healthy size 12. I was a size 10 before I had my son, but between my ribs, that he has managed to get on his knees to spread and develop a little baby-the real breasts (Woo-hoo, a real boobs! Where were you when I needed a date to the prom?), I don’t think that’s in the cards. But you never know.

 

I got to a point in my life where I have learned a lot about personal truths, and one of them is this-skinny just doesn’t seem like the chocolate tastes like. I’m a fan of the Biggest Loser on TV and I love seeing people who change their lives, but I would really like is to see the contestants sit in the doctors and trainers after the competition, and to develop a goal weight, which is suitable for real life calls for a maximum of 2 workouts a week and allows for the occasional pizza. By the end of the season, the contestants are so focused on losing weight, who lives at the gym and eating half the calories of a healthy body functions require. No surprise they put on a little weight immediately after the show and some of them get so depressed about the fact that they are all back, and then some. Competitors who manage to maintain a very lean weight, are the ones who go to professional training, motivational speaking, or, where they are, in practice, paid for the spokesmanship to stay skinny.

 

If you want to work with the major goals in the media or entertainment, you want to lose weight. The Media is cruel. If you are Kathy Bates does not work in the television and eat cake. Instead, you’ll probably be fine to replace the money and prestige. What do you want?

 

Do you want that your significant other is a smokin’ hot hardbody? Then the better would be the same, if for no other reason than that the people who seem to spend a lot of time at the gym. If you’re not in there as well, you can see the honey and other hardbodies will be. What do you want?

 

Ask yourself, is there something you have or do, that you can not only because of the weight. It’s not about whether or not you love yourself. Self esteem is an incredibly complex and the weight-loss industry would like you to think it is almost completely unrelated to your weight. I know that skinny people who feel worthless and fat people who think they are the finest since sliced bread, both equally without objective criteria. The transition to a scale does not change the head noises.

 

All life is a compromise. I love good food, good wine and relax, and it is going to be brutal, the rest of my time and calories, or it means that I’m going to do a few miles. So I do. My husband does not care about (and when her BMI exceeds mine, he should better not). Blood chemistry is normal. I am fit enough to walk, if I want to run up and down the stairs, and go to the swing dance. I’m not fit to Marathon, but then, I do not want to run a marathon.

 

If your butt is too big for the airline seat, your weight is probably not what keeps you from traveling. If you are not so large that you have to design fashions Omar Tentmaker Office where tailored suits are standard dress your weight is unlikely to keep you in professional development. And it’s definitely not keep you find love. If you want to walk down the runway, to lose weight. If your knees hurt, when you walk in, to lose weight. If your blood glucose numbers are off, lose weight. But do not know why you want to lose weight and be realistic about how much you want to lose versus How you want to live.
